Taylor Swift Holds Her Own Funeral in 'Anti-Hero' Music Video: 'One of My Favorite Songs'

After a trailer for the album offered fans a sneak glimpse during Thursday night's NFL game on Amazon Prime Video, "Anti-Hero" had its YouTube debut on Friday morning.

The accessible song contemplates on the self-aware singer's flaws and public image from its first lyric, "I have this thing where I get older but just never wiser," to its climax, "the star watching her own funeral dissolve into pandemonium."

The 32-year-old Grammy winner provided extra context for the song's lyrics earlier this month. It was penned by Swift and Jack Antonoff.

One of her favourite songs she's ever written is Track 3, "Anti-Hero," she remarked.

Regarding her "unmanageable" popularity, she continued, "I truly don't think I've dived this far into my insecurities in this detail before."

"I just battle with the thought of not feeling like a person," the speaker said, trying not to seem too depressing.
